|  Resume: Inside-school specially appointed professor; advisor of PhD candidates of computer system architecture and cryptology; director of the Ministry of Education/Ministry of Information Industry Key Laboratory of Computer Network and Information Security; dean of the School of Computer Science and Technology; outstanding returned student of Shaanxi Province; born in Xi’an in October, 1963; received his Bachelor of Science degree from the Department of Mathematics at the Shaanxi Normal University in July, 1985; obtained his Master of Engineering degree in computer software from the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Xidian University in March, 1988; earned his Doctorate of Engineering in communication and electronic system from the Department of Information Engineering, Xidian University in March, 1995.

Research achievements: “Research on Fast Decoding of Block Codes” won the third Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Electronic Industry in 1997. “Research on the Data Fusion Expert System and Development Tools in the Intelligence Reconnaissance System” won the third National Defense Sci-tech Award of the Commission of National Defense Science and Technology. “Error Correcting Code Technology in Computers” won the third award of the 10th National Excellent Sci-tech Books of the National Press and Publication Administration in 2001. “Security Technology in Broadband Wireless IP Network Systems” won the second Sci-tech Achievements Award of the Chinese Institute of Communications in 2002. “Integration Security Access System in Wireless IP Networks” won the second Whole Army Science and Technology Award in 2006.
Current research projects: The projects of the National Natural Science Foundation “Analysis and Design of the Provably Secure Multi-party Protocol” and “Research on the Key Theory and Its Application of the Trust Mobile Internet”; the “11th Five-year Plan” national defense advance research project of the General Armament Department “Technology against Wireless Network Attacks”; and the project of the “11th Five-year Plan” National Cryptology Development Fund “Trust Architecture Theory and Technology of the Mobile Internet”.
