DSC, Supervisory Department and Audit Division
    The CPC Xidian University Discipline Inspection Commission (“DSC” for short) and the Xidian University Supervisory Department (Supervisory Department for short) were set up separately according to the “Constitution of the Communist Party of China” and with reference to the “Administrative Supervision Law of the People’s Republic of China”. The DSC is the operating organization of the University’s Party Committee which takes charge of Party’s discipline inspection at the University; the Supervisory Department is the administrative management department of the University’s Party Committee which is in charge of the administrative supervisory work at the University. The above two units perform their work under dual leadership of the University’s Party Committee & administration and the discipline inspection commission & supervisory department at a higher level.
    The Audit Division was established in 1985 and it used to be an independent department-level unit. Now, it works jointly with the DSC and the Supervisory Department. The Audit Division takes charge of financial audit and construction project audit. It is mainly responsible for auditing the income and expenditure of all the units at the University, for the responsibility audit of the leading cadres during their term of office, and for performance audit and closing audit of capital construction and repair projects. 
    The DSC, the Supervisory Department and the Audit Division work jointly.
    For many years the above three units have been appraised as “Advanced Units” of the then Ministry of Electronic Industry, the provincial education institutions and the electronic industry institutions. There are two persons who were awarded the title of “National Advanced Individual of Discipline Inspection”. In 2002, the Audit Division was granted the title of “Advanced Collective” by the Ministry of Education.
The DSC has 1 secretary, 1 deputy secretary and 9 members, with both the director of the Supervisory Department and the director of the Audit Division concurrently held by the deputy secretary of the DSC. The three units have 10 staff members in all.
