Office of International Coorperation & Exchange
    The evolution of its organization: the Group of Foreign Affairs Work (in 1979, attached to the President Office) the Foreign Affairs Office (in 1983)the Office of International Cooperation & Exchange (renamed in 2002). The Office is the department of centralized management for dealing with the University’s foreign affairs.
    Its responsibility includes the formulation of both the medium- and long-term development program for the University’s external exchanges and the annual work plan and their implementation; the establishment of friendly exchange relations between the University and the institutions of higher learning & scientific research institutions abroad and the signing of agreements & their implementation; the management of foreign experts and the conferring of honorary academic titles on foreign renowned scholars; the application for the international conferences sponsored by the University and the related organization and coordination; the formulation of the plans for forming the University’s delegations to go abroad on official visits and all the related preparations and their implementation; handling the procedures to seek the approval of the relevant authorities at a higher level for the University’s government-sponsored teachers and students to go abroad for advanced studies, make joint research or attend international conferences; being in charge of external publicity and acceptance & granting of gifts in the University’s foreign affairs.
    The Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs
    The evolution of its organization: Before 1995, it was attached to the Organization (United Front) Department of the University’s Party Committee. In 1995, the Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs was established, which works in a united office with the Office of International Cooperation & Exchange. It has the overall responsibility for the University’s cooperation and exchange with Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and related affairs, including the formulation of the exchange plans with Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan; being in charge of the University’s cooperation and exchange items with Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and publicity; being in charge of the enrollment of students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
    The School of International Education
    The evolution of its organization: In 1997, the International Cultural Exchange Center was set up, which worked in a united office with the Foreign Affairs Office. In 2008, the School was established, which is responsible for the enrollment, training and management of foreign students, including the formulation of the medium- and long-term development program and the annual work plan for enrolling foreign students and being in charge of their implementation; the formulation of the admission brochure and the course structure for foreign students; being in charge of daily living administration of foreign students and related affairs; the selection of the University’s current students who will be sent abroad for studies.
