Assistant President---- Gao Xinbo
Resume: Han nationality; born in Laiwu, Shandong Province in August, 1972; member of the Communist Party of China; doctor of engineering; professor; advisor of PhD candidates; graduated from the specialty of signal and information processing at Xidian University. He successively held the posts of vice chairman of the Department of Electronic Engineering, assistant dean and vice dean of the School of Electronic Engineering, director of the Department of, and concurrent dean of the College of International Education. He is a member of the Party Committee of Xidian University. In 2003, he won the title of “Shaanxi Provincial Outstanding Young Teacher”, in 2004 he was selected into the “New Century Outstanding Talents Supporting Program” of the Ministry of Education, in 2005 he received the title of “Shaanxi Provincial Outstanding Young Teacher Pacesetter”, and in 2006 he obtained the Young Teacher Award for the Institutions of Higher Learning from the Fok Ying-tung Education Fund. In 2011 he won the support from the National Outstanding Youth Science Fund. Presently, he is the assistant president of Xidian University.
